Help & Troubleshooting

Frequently Asked Questions

No internet at all

Most outages at home are power, a loose fiber, or a unit that needs restarting. Try these in order before calling — it fixes it most of the time.

  1. Check the POWER light on your unit. If it is off, check the outlet and your breaker.
  2. Check the LOS light. If it is red, stop here — that is a fiber problem on our side. Message us and say the LOS light is red.
  3. Unplug the unit from power, wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in. Give it 2 minutes to start.
  4. Check the fiber cable going into the unit is not bent sharply, pinched behind furniture, or pulled loose.
  5. Try connecting one phone to the WiFi close to the unit, to rule out distance.
  6. Still nothing after all this? Message us with what the lights are showing.
What the lights on my unit mean

Your unit tells you where the problem is before you even call. The LOS light is the important one.

  1. Look at the row of small lights on the front of the unit.
  2. Find the label beside each light — POWER, PON, LOS, LAN, WLAN.
  3. Match what you see against the table below.
  4. If LOS is red, that is a fiber line problem and only we can fix it.
LightWhat you seeWhat it meansWhat to do
POWER / PWROffThe unit has no power.Check the adapter is plugged in and the outlet has power. Check your breaker.
POWER / PWRSolid greenThe unit is powered normally.Nothing to do.
PONBlinkingStill trying to connect to our network.Wait about 2 minutes. If it keeps blinking, message us.
PONSolid greenConnected to our network normally.Nothing to do.
LOSOffThe fiber signal is fine.Nothing to do.
LOSRed / blinking redNo fiber signal reaching your unit — usually a cut or unplugged fiber line.Do not open the unit. Message or call us right away and mention the red LOS light.
LAN / ETHOffNothing is connected to that LAN port.Only matters if you use a cable. Check the cable at both ends.
LAN / ETHBlinking greenA device is connected and passing data.Nothing to do.
WLAN / WiFiOffThe WiFi radio is switched off.Press the WLAN button on the unit, or message us.
WLAN / WiFiBlinking greenWiFi is on and working.Nothing to do.
I already paid but I'm still disconnected

Reconnection is not always instant. Here is what to expect and how to speed it up.

  1. Have your payment reference or receipt ready.
  2. Restart your unit once — unplug for 30 seconds, plug back in.
  3. If you are still disconnected after that, message us with your name and the payment reference.

Payments made outside office hours may be posted the next working day.

WiFi is slow or weak in some rooms

A weak signal in a far room is usually distance and walls, not your plan speed.

  1. Stand near the unit and check the speed there first. If it is fine up close, it is a coverage problem, not a line problem.
  2. Concrete walls, steel, and mirrors block WiFi badly. Keep the unit out in the open, not inside a cabinet.
  3. Count how many devices are connected — every phone, TV, and CCTV shares the same plan.
  4. If you need coverage in a far room, message us about an extender or a second access point.
